The 25 Days of Christmas Posts: Day Four For The Californian

We know that yellow isn't exactly the color that comes to mind when you think of the holidays but I think you'll agree that in sunny Los Angeles, it fits just fine.

Today we are bringing you a double dose of yellow California charm. First off we have a handled pitcher by Padre Pottery, a Los Angeles company that made pottery from 1930-1952 and was similar to other pottery groups such as Gladding McBean, Bauer and Catalina that were all operating in California during that period. The second piece is a two handled ceramic vase by Bauer, a company that started in Kentucky but quickly relocated to Los Angeles where it is still produced today! Talk about buying local!

Both pieces have nice clean lines, great silhouettes and will look great filled with flowers or just left alone. We hope they will bring a little California to all your out of town friends and family or be a great addition to your favorite Angeleno's home!

Each item is priced at $30* and can be found at our store Hide And Seek (Click for Map) . Please feel free to call us at (818)763-2060 or email us at hideandseekla@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Happy Shopping!

*The handled pitcher has sold but the two handled ceramic vase is still available.
